From Dindigul, travel 7 kilometers on the road to Natham and then turn right. There are a total of 18 hairpin bends along the way. On the route, there is the Malaimatha Temple. This area has rare medicinal herbs. Lemons, bananas, and jackfruits are grown in abundance. The climate here is always pleasant. The Sirumalai bananas are used to make Panchamirtham for the Palani Murugan Temple. This place is home to rare animals and birds.
The top of the hill is on a slope. 2 KM from Bus Stand. is far away. Aroki Mata festival will be held in September with flag hoisting.
It is a small reservoir created artificially in 2010. Nestled among thick trees. Boat rides are also arranged. Boating is only allowed on weekends if there is enough water.

This mountain is a part of Sirumalai. In the Ramayana, there was a war with Ravana. The herb was needed to wake up Lakkuman, who was unconscious during the battle. Sanjeevini Hill is considered to be a small piece that fell from Ammalai when Hanuman found the herb and carried it.
This river starts from Sirumalai and flows southwards and merges with Vaigai. The estuary area is 819 sq km. (316 sq. miles). The catchment area is 4279.89 hectares (10575.8 acres). Sadiyar Dam has been constructed across this river near Vadipatti for agricultural irrigation. Irrigated areas are in Madurai district.

The area is called Agasthyarpuram because Siddhar, known as Agasthya, stayed here. It is considered to be the place of residence of various Siddhas since ancient times. Medicinal plants and herbal plants are abundant here. A 500-year-old Shiva Lingam is found in this area.
Vellimalai is found in Agasthiyapuram. It is the highest mountain in Sirumalai. The entire top of this mountain was silver. It is said that Agastya turned it into a rock because it would be stolen by people in Kali Yuga. A 500 year old Shiva Lingam is found on the top of this hill. It takes 30-45 minutes to reach this peak
The Dindigul Fort or Dindigul Malai Kottai and Abirami amman Kalaheswarar Temple was built in 16th-century by the Madurai Nayakar Dynasty situated in the town of Dindigul in the state of Tamil Nadu in India. The fort was built by the Madurai Nayakar king Muthu Krishnappa Nayakar in 1605.
